Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Deep River, CT, operating onsite from Monday to Friday. As a critical part of our U.S. division, you will support daily financial operations and provide light HR assistance.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry, including entering invoices and matching corresponding documents.
- Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts using QuickBooks Enterprise software.
- Manage and process approximately 50 invoices per month.
- Communicate with 15–20 customers per month regarding billing inquiries or related needs.
- Handle collections, including contacting overdue customers and arranging payment plans.
- Maintain organized vendor and customer filing systems, ensuring up-to-date and compliant document storage.
- Provide biweekly payroll support, assisting the Finance & Administration Manager as needed.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Experience with reconciliation and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Strong data entry and invoice processing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly for external interactions with customers.
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or related administrative finance roles.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Enterprise is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work comfortably onsite in a small-team environment.
