This role is responsible for reviewing and interpreting financial and operational data to determine billable services for clients. You will analyze project and service information to identify chargeable activities, collaborate with internal teams such as project managers and client services to clarify billing details, and prepare accurate client invoices in compliance with contract terms. Additional responsibilities include resolving billing discrepancies or client inquiries, maintaining thorough documentation and audit trails for billing decisions, and ensuring all processes support accuracy and transparency.

The team consists of about 40 billers and 25 accounts, with accounting and billing departments situated separately on the same floor. The shift is flexible, generally starting between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM, ending between 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM, with a 1/2 hour lunch break. Once you establish your routine, there is flexibility to adjust your schedule slightly.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Responsibilities

- Ensure all billing processes support accuracy and transparency.
- Experience in billing or invoice processing.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and Vlookups.
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable.
- 2 years of data entry experience.
- 2 years of experience working with vendors or customers.
- Experience with customer service or vendor maintenance.
- Understanding of credit terms, AP, AR, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
