As a Collections Specialist, you will manage Accounts Receivable (AR) Aging reports for various locations and subsidiaries. Job Description

Responsibilities
- Manage AR Aging reports for assigned locations and subsidiaries.
- Handle escalated accounts and invoices requiring higher-level collection.
- Prepare collection letters and request attorney involvement as needed.
- Recommend accounts for third-party collection or write-off.
- Communicate with the Collections Manager regarding the status of past due accounts.
- Monitor and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed notes on accounts to document collection efforts.
- Work on returned statements to collect outstanding debt and update ERP systems.
- Ensure the security and privacy of customer information.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Make 30-35 calls per day.
- At least two years of experience in collection and credit work.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using CRM and ERP software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
- Proficiency in typing.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's or associate's degree preferred.
- Experience with Profit Zoom and Sedona software is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics for cross-training purposes.
