Join a dynamic accounting team of 20 professionals within a close-knit department, including 5 members on the AP team. The work environment is fast-paced with core hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, requiring on-site presence in the DTC office. Pay and Benefits

Responsibilities
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
- Monitor priority check request email box daily and handle multiple urgent requests as they arise.
- Act as liaison between corporate and field, including researching issues prior to payment.
- Answer vendor and market inquiries.
- Maintain and compile accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and records.
- Distribute signed checks and assemble/process overnight shipments to branches and vendors.
- Create ACH uploads for the bank daily.
- Research status of payables in the process chain.
- Assist in monthly closings by posting all invoices received by the last day of the month.
- Analyze accounts to assist vendors in reconciling differences between our records and theirs.
- Identify and correct potential opportunities to minimize expenses.
- Follow up with various properties on outstanding Security Deposits.
- 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Proficient in high volume invoicing and data entry.
- Strong reconciliation and coding skills.
- Experience with Excel and three-way matching.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- A degree in a related field is preferred.
- Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
