We are looking for an experienced SAP FI–RAR Consultant with strong functional expertise in Revenue Accounting & Reporting (RAR) under IFRS 15 / ASC 606. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in SAP RAR configuration, integration, contract accounting, and end‑to‑end revenue recognition processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and support SAP FI–RAR modules across business units.
- Configure and customize RAR components, including contract identification, performance obligations, and revenue posting.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Support end-to-end revenue recognition processes, including data migration, testing, and cutover.
- Experience specializing in design, configuration and RAR integration with FI, SD and/or BRIM.
- Knowledge of BRF is highly desired.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606 accounting standards.
- Liaison with business and create accounting BRDs, functional and technical specifications
- Work autonomously and in teams to drive the design solution for the projects.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and user guides.
- Adept at designing and implementing SAP-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team.
- Core Finance – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Controlling, Costing, Treasury, Revenue Recognition, IFRS compliance
- Develop your knowledge of and gain project experience in SAP’s new S/4HANA Finance and future solutions
- Require robust verbal and written communication skills including business and functional requirements, management level presentations and proposals presentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Two full life cycle implementation experience with SAP RAR module.
- Proficiency in SAP RAR configuration and integration.
- Strong understanding of practical business scenarios and knowledge of SAP RAR, including error handling.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is essential.
- Hands-on experience with:
- RAI (Revenue Accounting Items)
- POB (Performance Obligation) setup
- RAR posting logic
- Event-based revenue recognition
- Experience with integration (SD/FI/BRIM).
- Good understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing capabilities.
