- This is a first shift position, 8:00a – 5:00p (could also work 7:30a - 4:30p), Monday-Friday. No weekends or nights.
Responsibilities
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose vehicle problems based on customer complaints/inspection and examine to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Troubleshoot and repair of suspension, driveline, steering components, brake system – air and hydraulic, engine repair, and electrical
- Install injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, change or recharge batteries, and replace transmissions and other parts
- Document all work performed and recommended repair orders
- Conduct road test to ensure vehicle as needed
- Adherence to all company and industry safety standards
- Ability to organize the work presented and plan for the highest efficiency and productivity in the performance of all job functions
- Continual training and development in support of individual career and company goals
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Vocational or technical certification on vehicle repairs
- 5 years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks
- Training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications
- Ability to work with diagnostics computer for troubleshooting and repairs
- Must have your own toolset to perform assigned responsibilities
- Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Must have skills:
- 5 years working on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks
- Diagnostic
- Electrical experience
- Brake, steering component, driveline, transmission experience
- Must have their own tools
- Stable work history
Nice to have:
- Training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications
- International Truck experience preferred but other truck manufacturers is acceptable
- Cummins engine
Interview Process:
- In-person with GM and Operations
- Mechanical aptitude test
