Title: PowerBI Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA (5 days onsite)

Duration 12-18 months

Interview: Video Interview and 1 In-person Interview

Must have:

• 3–6 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar BI role.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• hands-on experience leveraging Google Cloud Platform services
• Experience with other BI/Analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices for BI report deployment.

Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data modeling, and dashboard/report development, along with hands-on experience leveraging Google Cloud Platform services for data integration and analytics.
• This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver impactful insights and reporting solutions.

Onsite:

• 5 days a week

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar BI role.
• Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and UX principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other BI/Analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices for BI report deployment.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM roles, and compliance in Google Cloud Platform.

Activities Include:

• Integrate enterprise data sources including:
• Corporate Inventory System
• Oracle
• PI Historian
• Automate calculations currently performed manually:
• Trend analysis
• Gain/Loss calculations
• Standard deviation thresholds
• Identification of abnormal gain/loss patterns
• Provide standardized analytics outputs
• Eliminate reliance on manual spreadsheet processing
• Deliver Power BI dashboard/reporting solution with automated refresh capability
• Provide reporting outputs suited for audit and compliance review

Salary : $50 - $60
