Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Technical Skills
· 3 years of hands-on Fidessa server-side development experience.
· Strong knowledge of the Fidessa Product Suite, including:
o CASE, FBL, TOP, OMAR, TMAR, PMAC, PARS, NMS, FIX, APAS, FDA
· Deep understanding of the FIX protocol and related message flows.
· Scripting experience in TCL and Unix shell scripting.
· Strong experience working on Linux and Windows 10 platforms.
· Experience with Agile SDLC methodologies.
· Front Office Development experience with exposure to trading system workflows.
· Strong understanding of equities trading workflows and equities market structure.
· Excellent analytical, system design, and system integration skills.
Functional Skills
· Ability to handle multiple projects in parallel and manage time effectively.
· Proactive, self-driven, and able to take full ownership with minimal supervision.
· Strong interest in learning trading business concepts and market microstructure.
· Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to completing deliverables.
Desired Skills
· 3 years of Core Java development experience.
· Hands-on experience with FDX and Sybase.
· FTW development experience is a strong plus.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Support and maintain multiple Fidessa trading systems within the Front Office environment.
· Integrate Fidessa components seamlessly into the Bank’s technology stack, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
· Perform regular upgrades of Fidessa product components to stay aligned with vendor releases and platform updates.
· Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and development teams to meet business, functional, and regulatory requirements.
· Onboard and enable Fidessa systems onto DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automation toolchains.
· Participate in system integration, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance optimization.
· Ensure adherence to Agile SDLC processes and deliver high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.
· Work proactively to understand equities workflows and support trading desks effectively.
· Handle multiple parallel initiatives while taking full ownership of assigned tasks
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
