ASSYST is seeking a motivated and results-driven Mid-Level Business Development Executive to support existing clients and drive new business growth across federal and civilian markets. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in capture management, pipeline development, and proposal execution, supported by ASSYST’s mature corporate infrastructure, including capture, proposal development and management, and deep subject matter expertise across a broad portfolio of capabilities.

- Lead and support business development and capture activities to expand ASSYST’s footprint in new and existing federal and civilian accounts.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Execute and support strategies for identifying, qualifying, and shaping new opportunities, contributing to a healthy and sustainable pipeline.
- Participate in capture planning activities, including competitive analysis, win strategies, and solution shaping.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and articulate ASSYST’s values, products, and services.
- Support and contribute to RFP, RFQ, and task order responses, working closely with proposal managers and Subject Matter Experts.
- Assist in gathering requirements, developing solution approaches, and preparing detailed proposal content.
- Facilitate and participate in client meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Partner with marketing and business development teams on joint campaigns and outreach initiatives that generate new opportunities.
- Provide regular updates on opportunity status, capture progress, and pipeline health to internal leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited four-year college/university or equivalent related experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in business development, capture management, sales, or related roles, preferably supporting federal and civilian customers.
- Demonstrated experience with GSA Schedule, IDIQ/GWACs, Agency BPAs, and responding to task order requirements.
- Strong understanding of capture processes, proposal development, and federal procurement lifecycle.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with a data-driven approach.
- Proficiency with CRM and productivity tools such as Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Office 365.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
