Application Developer (Azure AI/Data/Power Platform)

ASSYST is seeking a versatile and experienced Cloud Application Developer with deep expertise in .NET, Azure Data Services, and Microsoft AI technologies to design, build, and deploy modern, cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AI/ML, CoPilot Studio, and Data Science methodologies to deliver intelligent, scalable, and high-performance solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Job Title: Application Developer (Azure AI/Data/Power Platform)
Location: Washington, DC

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using the .NET framework and modern development practices.
• Work with Azure Data Services to implement and manage cloud-based data pipelines, storage solutions, and analytics platforms.
• Build robust solutions using Python for data processing, automation, and system integration tasks.
• Apply Data Science methodologies to extract actionable insights from large datasets and develop predictive models.
• Collaborate with teams to design AI-powered applications and integrations using CoPilot Studio and Microsoft AI technologies to enhance user experience and productivity.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure best practices in security, performance, and maintainability are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in agile processes and contribute to iterative development and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in .NET application development with modern programming practices.
• Proven expertise in Azure Data Services including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and related cloud-based tools.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and API integrations.
• Solid understanding of Data Science concepts, including machine learning models, statistical analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with CoPilot Studio and other AI-driven tools.
• Experience with Microsoft AI technologies to build intelligent applications and automation solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud security standards.
• Experience with data visualization, reporting, and analytics tools.
• Ability to work in an agile environment, manage tasks, and communicate technical solutions effectively.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, frameworks, or cloud technologies is a plus.
• Experience with large-scale cloud deployments and data governance.
• Exposure to enterprise-level software development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest in exploring emerging AI technologies and contributing to innovation.
