Your Role:
As a Housekeeper at Assurance Health, you will:
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment throughout patient areas and hospital departments.
- Perform daily cleaning duties including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, waste removal, and spill cleanup.
- Care for and operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet extractors.
- Replenish supplies including tissues, towels, and soap dispensers.
- Assist in moving furniture and equipment when needed.
- Follow all OSHA standards and hospital safety protocols.
- Collaborate with staff and patients in a professional, courteous manner.
Qualifications:
- Experience: One year of housekeeping or janitorial experience required, especially in healthcare.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, knowledge of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to interact courteously with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Physical Ability: Able to meet lifting and movement requirements, with assistance when needed.
