Job Description
Position Role: The Submittal Drafter is responsible for translating design sketches and blueprints into detailed, technical drawings. The Submittal Drafter must create submittal and project drawings per drafting standards, schedule, scope, and budget. They are also responsible for amending drawings as needed per internal and external mark-ups.

They are also responsible for amending drawings as needed per internal and external mark-ups.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize company drafting programs/CAD software to produce accurate millwork submittal drawings from Architectural Drawings for customer review.
- Analyze project documents and develop detailed drawings required to accurately convey scope of work and architectural intent while following fabrication standards.
- Coordinate drawings with the Submittal Coordinator and Project Manager.
- Complete submittal drawings on time and accurately.
- Ensure drawings comply with company/industry standards.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Project Management, Project Planning, and Production on complex scope.
- Assist project managers with updating drawings and revising project documents per field dimensions.
- Update drawings to fix mistakes or incorporate feedback or changes from customers.
- Alert the Project Manager of any added cost changes when performing revisions.
- Other duties as assigned.
