Lifestyle Director

All services of the Lifestyle Director are under the direct supervision of the Community Manager, Assistant Community Manager and/or the supervision of Association Advisors NJ.

Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to the following.

Personal Skills and Traits Desired:

· Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to maintain composure in stressful situations

· Willingness to consider the advice and opinions of others.

· Ability to coordinate and conduct meetings.

· Must be organized and efficient.

· Ability to meet deadlines.

· Ability to train and motivate others.

· Computer skills in Microsoft Office.

Activities Program:

• Prior experience in event planning.
• Provide a plan of activities appropriate to the needs of the residents.

· Provide an opportunity for resident involvement in planning and implementation of the activities programming.

· Prepare the monthly calendar of the activities.

· Obtain the necessary equipment and supplies needed for the activities, clubs and committees.

Trip Planning

· Schedule the Association jitney for trips and arrange bus rentals.

· Schedule trips and outings for the residents.

Financial Records:

· Maintain the financial records in Quick Books for the clubs and activity account. This includes making deposits, issuing checks, and reconciling the account on a monthly basis.

Scheduling:

· Maintaining the daily schedule for all events and rooms using the software program Enumerate Engage.

Event Participation:

· Must be available to coordinate major events which may occur in the evening or on weekends including the hosting and attendance of the New Year’s Eve party.

· Attend evening Board meetings which includes the setup and operation of Zoom programs.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
