What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Person Truck Parts position at Associated Truck Parts?
Under the direction of the branch manager, the inside sales representative is primarily responsible for making and answering phone calls to and from small and large truck fleets, dealers, leasing companies and repair companies to sell truck, trailer and equipment parts. Duties include maintaining existing customer relationships while increasing sales, opening new accounts during work hours and supporting the Outside Sales Representatives in order to best meet our customers’ needs.
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday (in scheduled rotation) – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Essential Duties:
· Assist managers and other staff with procurement of necessary materials and equipment
· Make on-site visits to customers and assist those customers with parts, returns, warranties and credits
· Make note of customers’ needs, review and recommend relevant products and services
· Prepare cost estimates for customers
· Schedule and deliver parts to customers
· Deliver and pick up parts and cores from customers
· Make in-person collections from customers
· Assist any current or potential customer in any need they may have
· Support Outside Sales Representatives by loading and unloading deliveries and making up shoe kits
· May assist with investigation of customer complaints
· Pull and invoice parts
· Maintain a clean and organized branch
· Assembles brake shoe box kits
Additional Duties:
· Cover shifts when others may be out sick or on vacation
· Put away inventory
· Count inventory
Requirements:
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Clean driving record without chargeable accidents or moving violations
· High School Diploma
· College Degree a plus
· 1 year experience
· Ability to drive an Associated Truck Parts van

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
