Position Summary:
We are searching for a motivated Receiving Lead that will be part of our manufacturing plant team. In this key leadership role, the Receiving Lead will oversee daily receiving operations, guide team members, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of unfinished goods to the production lines. In your role with Associated Materials Innovations, you will ensure our products maintain the highest level of quality satisfaction our customers expect. What To Expect:
- Lead and coordinate daily receiving operations, ensuring all incoming goods are transported from the dock to appropriate warehouse or production location according to part/order number.
- Lead and support receiving team members, providing guidance, training, and daily task direction.
- Run and interpret receiving and production reports to identify bottlenecks or process issues.
- Work cross-functionally with production, inventory, customer service, and quality teams to ensure smooth order flow.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to missing product, shipping errors, or damaged goods.
- Perform inventory audits and organize warehouse to ensure proper placement of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving/warehouse area while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Act as the point of contact for escalated receiving concerns, both internally and externally.
- Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems to manage tasks, reporting, and communication.
- Assist in staffing, scheduling, and performance feedback for the receiving team.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline workflows and reduce operational delays.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including cross-training and floor support as needed
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior Lead experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and follow-up skills; able to prioritize tasks and direct a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and experience with ERP systems .
- Clear communication to all team members and able to read / comprehend English language (Fully Bi-lingual) is a plus in Spanish and English. Clear, professional communicator with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
- Complete company training and attain certification to operate heavy equipment such as forklift to receive and transport goods.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and move materials as needed.
- Familiarity with standard shipping procedures, documentation, and best practices.

Work Environment:
The atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Physical fitness to include movements, positioning, remaining stationary which include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing). Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance, 80lbs-100lb with assistance. Frequent use of company communication devices are required such as a computer, phone, and other office electronics.
