What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2ND SHIFT WAREHOUSE SHIPPING SUPERVISOR/OUTBOUND DISTRIBUTION SUPERVISOR position at Associated Grocers of the South?
- $1,154 week starting salary with review after six (6) months (annualized starting salary $60,000
- Supervision of union employees involved in full case, electric pallet jack order selection
- Supervision of forklift operators, clerks and multi-stop trailer loading in a refrigerated warehouse
- Experience with computerized warehouse management system, engineered labor standards and voice activated headsets are all major assets
- Experience training and developing order selectors in a warehouse distribution facility is a major plus
- Ability to understand and speak Spanish is a major plus
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant supervisory experience in an industrial operation required
- Shift begins at 3:30 p.m. daily, seven nights per week, with two (2) regularly scheduled off days
