Our Client, one of the largest consumer product companies in the US, is looking for a Technical Account Analyst – Capital Assets, to join their team. This is a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an accounting subject matter working with sectors, peers and key customers, in providing guidance in the proper accounting/classification of intangibles, internally developed software, PP&E, and leases.
- Review and validate client contracts to ensure requirements for compliance to contract terms including operation maintenance and balance sheet review for assigned sectors.
- Provide month and year-end support for Capital Assets close processes ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures for capitalization; including, recording/posting journal entries in SAP and supply/ensure appropriate support is provided.
- Assist in enhancing Compass Capital Asset/Client Investment policies and procedures and Balance Sheet integrity through process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA, or CPA in progress, is HIGHLY preferred
- 2-3 years of accounting AND audit experience
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- STRONG excel skills required
