Description: This position offers a wonderful opportunity to practice 2 different skills for Assisting Hands Greater Murray.
One responsibility is administrative and the other is caregiving. If you are a CNA and have done and loved caregiving but are looking to also grow your office skills, this job is for you, as you will be able to do both
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; CNA in good standing required (2 years of experience a plus)
Qualifications: Be a CNA in good standing. Outstanding caregiving experience and interpersonal skills. Be well-organized with an ability to perform office tasks. Must be able to work independently.
Reports to: Agency Director
Primary Duties:
- Perform caregiving duties as needed (caregiving)
- Respond to the phone as needed (admin)
- Assist in scheduling shifts (admin)
- Assist in keeping all caregivers file up to date and in compliance (admin)
- Responsible for maintaining client files and keeping them up to date (admin)
- May assist in providing orientation and training to new caregivers
- Other tasks as may arise
- Participates in on-call rotation as needed (future).
Hours: 20 hours a week, between 9 and 5 PM to be determined between employer/employee
