Our agency serves seniors, individuals with disabilities, those recovering from any illness or discharging from any skilled nursing facility, surgery and those who require assistance with daily living activities. Our services provided may include personal care assistance, companionship, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, mobility support, and respite care for family caregivers. Our caregivers are trained to address the unique needs of each client while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Role Overview:

As a Compassionate Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care, you will be responsible for providing essential support to clients in their homes, assisting them with daily living activities. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a dedicated team to ensure that each client receives personalized care that maintains their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Provide medication reminders to clients.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Escort clients to appointments and run errands as required.
• Observe and report changes in clients' physical or mental condition.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Compassionate and reliable caregiving experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Patience and understanding in working with clients who require assistance.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Dedication to enhancing clients' quality of life.

Bonus If You:

• Have additional training in CPR or First Aid.
• Possess experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities.
