Role Overview:
As a Caregiver - Per Diem at Assisting Hands Home Care Cave Creek, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, on-site personal care and assistance to clients in North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, and the surrounding communities such as Anthem and Cave Creek. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that each client’s needs are met while maintaining their independence and dignity. Whether you're helping with personal care or companionship, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site personal care and assistance to clients, including activities of daily living.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Assist clients with light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
- Support clients during morning and evening routines, facilitating their daily activities.
- Conduct transportation for clients to medical appointments and social outings as needed.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Direct Care Worker Certification (DCW) or higher, such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- A minimum of 9 months professional caregiving experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature to connect with clients.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication.
Bonus If You:
- Are experienced with specialized care needs, such as hospice support.
- Possess additional certifications related to caregiving or health support.
- Have experience in a variety of care settings.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Part-Time, with availability to work on Monday through Sunday.
Location:
This position is on-site only, located in Phoenix, Arizona.
