Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team. This hybrid position requires a strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and data entry processes to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims. The ideal candidate will be proficient in medical terminology, procedural and ICD-10 coding, and electronic claims submission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and submit electronic claims accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure proper use of procedural and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes.
- Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes.
- Utilize Cstar and SOR programs for billing and data management.
- Perform data entry in CIMOR as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- May include some nights and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Prior medical billing experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedural and ICD-10 coding.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes.
- Knowledge of electronic claims submission is helpful.
- Experience with Cstar and SOR programs is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry, particularly in CIMOR.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
