Billing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team. This hybrid position requires a strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and data entry processes to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims. The ideal candidate will be proficient in medical terminology, procedural and ICD-10 coding, and electronic claims submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and submit electronic claims accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure proper use of procedural and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes.
• Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes.
• Utilize Cstar and SOR programs for billing and data management.
• Perform data entry in CIMOR as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• May include some nights and weekends.

Qualifications:

• Prior medical billing experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedural and ICD-10 coding.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes.
• Knowledge of electronic claims submission is helpful.
• Experience with Cstar and SOR programs is preferred.
• Proficiency in data entry, particularly in CIMOR.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
