Position Summary
Resident Assistants provide personal care and daily living support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. Team members work closely with residents, families, and coworkers to create a safe, welcoming, and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers
- Monitor resident well-being and report changes to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation as required
- Participate in activities and help create a positive atmosphere for residents
- Follow all community policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- STNA certification is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet employment requirements
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
