Nurse Practitioner - Personal Injury
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team specializing in personal injury care. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing related to personal injury cases.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s injury and recovery needs.
- Provide wound care, pain management, and rehabilitation support as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient encounters thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, treatment options, and recovery processes.
- Participate in case reviews and provide expert medical opinions for personal injury claims.
- Stay current with advances in personal injury treatment and relevant healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP) required.
- Experience in personal injury, trauma, orthopedics, or related fields preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
