Nurse Practitioner - Personal Injury

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team specializing in personal injury care. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical evaluation, treatment, and follow-up care for patients who have sustained injuries due to accidents or other personal injury incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing related to personal injury cases.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s injury and recovery needs.
• Provide wound care, pain management, and rehabilitation support as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient encounters thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, treatment options, and recovery processes.
• Participate in case reviews and provide expert medical opinions for personal injury claims.
• Stay current with advances in personal injury treatment and relevant healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP) required.
• Experience in personal injury, trauma, orthopedics, or related fields preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a clinical setting focused on personal injury care. The Nurse Practitioner will interact with patients who have sustained various types of injuries and may be involved in legal or insurance-related documentation and processes.
