Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Credentialing Coordinator to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the credentialing process for healthcare providers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
• Verify provider credentials including education, licensure, certifications, work history, and malpractice insurance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing files and databases.
• Communicate with providers, hospitals, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Prepare and submit credentialing applications to insurance panels and other relevant entities.
• Track expiration dates and renewals for licenses, certifications, and other credentials.
• Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support provider onboarding and credentialing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in medical credentialing or related healthcare administrative role.
• Knowledge of credentialing processes, regulatory requirements, and healthcare terminology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
