Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant to join our Family Care / Primary Care Provider (PCP) team in Lancaster, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong background in patient care, clinical procedures, and electronic medical records management.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood for laboratory tests following proper protocols.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic health record system.
• Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Support the clinical team in delivering high-quality family care and primary care services.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in Family Care / Primary Care Provider (PCP) settings.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Proficient in taking vitals, phlebotomy, medication administration, and injections.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic health record system preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
