Investment Bank located in Baltimore, MD seeks Regulatory Analyst
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years experience with External reporting and/or public accounting experience. CPA preferred.
2. Accounting / Finance background.
3. Strong accounting research skills
4. Knowledge of financial services industry preferred
5. Self-starter and able to perform effectively with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
1. Help draft quarterly MD&A and footnote disclosures for U.S. Bank subsidiaries, which includes but not limited to reviewing comparable info (MS 10-Q / K and peer filings).
2. Help ensure accuracy of GAAP reporting by researching / documenting variance drivers.
3. Help perform the accounting research for the new accounting policies and transactions under GAAP
4. Help review the framework for Due Diligence / governance/ attestation and help establish new controls where needed.
5. Familiar with general ledger processes and month-end close as some assistance will be required in these areas.
6. Assist the team in the special projects, including new transactions, improvement projects.
7. Assist the team in meeting senior management directives.
8. Help support the automation/ technology improvements in SAP and Alteryx.
Salary : $50 - $60
