We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and lead a team to meet production goals efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
- Monitor and maintain production schedules, adjusting resources as needed to meet deadlines.
- Identify and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and waste.
- Train, coach, and evaluate production staff; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports; ensure timely completion of shift documentation.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper use and production machinery, report malfunctions to maintenance department.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular audits.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and cross-training of production personnel.
- Support inventory control by monitoring material usage and coordinating with supply chain teams.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in production software systems (e.g., Nulogy) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Working knowledge of FDA, USDA, SQF, and other food safety regulations.
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
