What You Will Be Doing
- Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes
- Develop quality plans for products
- Develop and implement corrective action based on root cause analysis
- Develop lean manufacturing procedures, reduce product lean time, promote visual factory environment
- Maintain machine and assembly production lines
- Lead quality improvement efforts through training, communication and implementation of new processes
- Prepare manufacturing documentation
- Coordinate projects
- Work closely with internal and external customers, as well as vendors to resolve issues and provide technical support
- Key member of Product Design Team, working with Design Engineers to develop and introduce new products
- Establish and maintain cellular layouts
- Lead and direct meetings with other team members and hourly associates
- Working towards BS in Engineering and /or Manufacturing or equivalent
- Lean manufacturing practices ( Kanban, Poke-Yoke, JIT, Value Stream Mapping)
- Assembly Operations, Metal Machining processes and tool design
- SPC implementation and practical application
- Ability to think progressively and creatively while keeping the future of the company and its employees in mind
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration capabilities
- Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong Communication skills (written and public speaking)
