ASRC Federal Gulf States Constructors, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Temporary Operator, Alarm Communications to support our government customer programs in Enid, Oklahoma.
Responsible for the operation of the Fire Department Communications Center. Maintains station log, records all incoming voice communications, and maintains the center in a clean and orderly manner. Must be able to speak clearly under stress and write legibly. Responsible for keeping TO’s, Regulations, Charts, Maps, and other items essential to the center’s operation in current status and in assigned location. Operates Base after hour’s communication system as required. Accepts after hour’s trouble calls, inputs into computer and/or contacts EMCS personnel for troubleshoot or scheduling craftsman. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, to include clear articulation and concise communication, be proficient in computer skills, and able to obtain any additional certifications required by the PWS upon hire. Must be able to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance. Must be able to obtain HAZMAT awareness certification within 14 days of receiving CAC. Must be able to obtain Telecommunications I, Telecommunications II, and Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) within 90 days of hire.
