This role is responsible for accurately entering, updating, tracking, and validating work order information using the U.S. Air Force NexGen IT system. The clerk ensures data integrity, timely processing of maintenance documentation, and efficient coordination between field teams, supervisors, and government representatives.

The clerk ensures data integrity, timely processing of maintenance documentation, and efficient coordination between field teams, supervisors, and government representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
NexGen Work Management
- Create, update, and close work orders in the NexGen system in accordance with contract requirements and Air Force procedures.
- Validate work order details such as service codes, labor hours, materials, and completion notes.
- Monitor work order status to ensure deadlines and performance standards are met.
- Assist in assigning work orders to appropriate shops or technicians based on priority and workload.
- Enter and maintain accurate data for preventive maintenance schedules, corrective actions, inspections, and service requests.
- Review technician-submitted reports for accuracy and completeness before inputting into NexGen.
- Maintain electronic and paper records in compliance with government standards.
- Compile data for daily, weekly, and monthly contract reports as needed.
- Assist with tracking key metrics such as response times, backlog, and material usage.
- Coordinate with maintenance supervisors, QA personnel, and government representatives to resolve data discrepancies.
- Support customer service functions, such as taking service calls and logging new requests.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and document formatting.
- High School Diploma.
- Must have minimum 5 years business administration/data entry experience.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, and posses a valid REAL ID or U.S. Passport.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and able to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation.
