ASRC Federal Gulf State Constructors is seeking a Carpenter, Maintenance in support of our Sheppard AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Wichita Falls, TX.
Overview
Performs all types of carpentry and masonry work, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, form making, tile laying, block and brick laying, cabinet making, suspended ceiling installation and repair, wood and metal fence installation and repair, etc. Provides carpenter support for other Vectrus shops and agencies on the Installation.

Performs all types of carpentry and masonry work, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, form making, tile laying, block and brick laying, cabinet making, suspended ceiling installation and repair, wood and metal fence installation and repair, etc. Provides carpenter support for other Vectrus shops and agencies on the Installation.
Responsibilities
- Performs rough and finish carpentry to accomplish work orders. Uses blueprints. Sketches, imagination to construct projects. Understands layout and construction techniques.
- May be called upon to perform masonry work, such as brick/block or tile laying.
- Installs framing, flooring, doors, windows, roofing, siding, vents, flashings, etc. to accomplish the project.
- Performs finish carpentry such as installing trim, cabinetry, ceiling tile, etc.
- Installs flooring of various types and may make minor carpet repairs.
- Installs wallboard and other wall finishes.
- Periodically perform stand-by duties for after hour’s emergency work.
- Performs all types of roof repair.
- Performs drywall, bed, texture, and paint.
- Performs minor concrete repair
- Acquire asbestos/mold test samples from assigned sites and submit to Environmental Toxic Manager for further action.
- Remediate mold from assigned sites.
- Other duties as assigned to meet customer and mission requirements.
- Valid driver’s license
- Possess or obtain within 90 days of hire a Mold Remediation Certification and Asbestos Sample Certification
- Five (5) years carpentry experience
- Three (3) years commercial roofing experience
- Must be a US or Permanent Citizen due to contract requirements
