- Fill trays with soil and prepare planting materials
- Grade plants by size and quality
- Transplant plants into trays with soil
- Trim, water, and apply fertilizers to plants
- Prepare and load plant racks for shipping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform routine maintenance on greenhouse and nursery equipment
- Glassware washing and cleaning laboratory area
- Assist with culture media preparation and sterilizati
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support additional tasks as needed to meet business goals
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work under varying weather conditions and environments.
- Capability to work irregular hours when required (during critical periods of the season)
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Work is primarily conducted in a greenhouse setting but also includes outdoors tasks that may involve exposure to different weather conditions.
- The role requires the use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and safety vests.
- Standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
- Use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipment.
