Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a DIRECTOR- SYSTEM BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION to join our team!
The Director - Business Transformation plays a highly visible role in helping Aspirus effectively advance strategic initiatives, drive transformative improvement, and achieve sustainable success. The Director plays an instrumental role in spreading the use of Lean/Six Sigma and project management methodologies and driving improvement/standardization/optimization of processes. Additionally, this role enhances organizational critical thinking, business acumen and nimbleness by building competencies, through project management and process improvement, to drive efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field.
- Master’s degree in business administration, Strategic Planning or related field preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
- Formal lean training and experience.
- Project Management (PMP) certification preferred.
- Portfolio Management (PfMP) certification preferred.
- 7 Years’ experience leading continuous improvement and project management teams.
- Demonstrated experience in building new functions/capabilities within an organization preferred.
- Experience linking improvement work to transformational value creation.
- Demonstrated experience building organizational competency in process improvement, analysis and problem solving.
- Extensive experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
- Experience in coordinating complex projects involving senior leaders and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Exhibits high sense of urgency, attention to detail, planning and accountability.
- Proficient in navigating ambiguity and driving teams to clarity in direction.
- History of developing talent and creating high performing teams.
- Proficient in developing and organizing project information and effectively presenting to a range of audiences.
- Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
