Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) when necessary
- Administer medications following physician's order after obtaining Level 1 Medication Administration training
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms and common areas
- Assist with providing transportation to clients attending and obtain Class E license
- Support residents’ emotional and social needs through engaging activities, companionship, and encouraging participation in community outings or group activities
- Follow established care plans meticulously, documenting observations, interventions, and progress to ensure continuity of care
Skills
- Proven experience working with a focus on patient care and caregiving
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certification provided upon hire
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring, including recognizing signs of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or other developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, families, and other professionals
- Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals
