Role: QA Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite, Local candidates only)
Duration: 6 months
Overview:
Seeking a QA Engineer to lead test planning, execution, and quality assurance for enterprise applications in an Agile environment. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through automation, validation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
- Track and report QA metrics including defects, test results, and execution status
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues, driving them to resolution
- Support QA best practices and contribute to process improvements
- Perform quality audits and ensure compliance with standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of QA/testing experience
- Experience in application testing (including middleware or backend systems)
- Strong Python scripting experience (3 years)
- Hands-on experience with test automation (must-have)
- Experience with API testing (REST/JSON) and related tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test management platforms (e.g., Jenkins, TestRail)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to analytics, media, or workflow-driven applications
- Experience with additional scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, VBScript)
