Role: QA Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite, Local candidates only)

Duration: 6 months

Overview:

Seeking a QA Engineer to lead test planning, execution, and quality assurance for enterprise applications in an Agile environment. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through automation, validation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
• Track and report QA metrics including defects, test results, and execution status
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues, driving them to resolution
• Support QA best practices and contribute to process improvements
• Perform quality audits and ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
  
  

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of QA/testing experience
• Experience in application testing (including middleware or backend systems)
• Strong Python scripting experience (3 years)
• Hands-on experience with test automation (must-have)
• Experience with API testing (REST/JSON) and related tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test management platforms (e.g., Jenkins, TestRail)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to analytics, media, or workflow-driven applications
• Experience with additional scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, VBScript)
