Banquet Manager
Location: Aspire | Clinton, Tennessee
Position Summary
The Banquet Manager oversees the planning and execution of private and corporate events across Aspire’s on-site venues. This role ensures exceptional service, seamless coordination from sales handoff through event completion, and close collaboration with The Pearl at Aspire for food and beverage services. The Banquet Manager is responsible for delivering memorable guest experiences that reflect Aspire’s hospitality standards and drive repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Event Execution & Coordination
- Review event contracts, BEOs, and client details from the sales team
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown across all venues
- Lead pre-event coordination meetings
- Serve as the primary on-site client contact
- Supervise service staff, cleanup, and venue resets
Restaurant Coordination
- Partner with The Pearl culinary and restaurant management team on menus and service
- Ensure proper timing, staffing, and quality for all food and beverage events
Team Leadership & Training
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff
- Conduct training and performance reviews
Communication & Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with sales, facilities, and AV teams
Quality, Safety & Standards
- Maintain service, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure compliance with Aspire policies and local regulations, including food safety and guest capacity
Financial & Administrative
- Review event billing within 48 hours to ensure payment
- Track labor, inventory, and event-related costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of banquet, catering, or event operations experience
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage timelines effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods during events
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
