Job Title: Test Lead with Playwright

Job Type: Contract

Location: Dublin, CA (Hybrid)

Experience Required: 8–12 years

Compensation: $60/hr - $70/hr on C2C

• Test Lead: Automation Framework Design Design and implement a scalable automation framework using Playwright with best practices like Page Object Model, reusable utilities, and modular architecture.
• Test Automation Development Develop, maintain, and optimize UI and API automation test scripts.
• Ensure strong coverage of regression, smoke, and end-to-end scenarios.
• CI/CD Pipeline Integration Integrate automated tests into CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps.
• Enable parallel execution and faster feedback cycles for releases.
• Team Leadership & Mentoring Lead and mentor automation engineers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and framework guidelines.
• Test Strategy & Planning Collaborate with QA, developers, and product owners to define automation scope and strategy.
• Identify test cases suitable for automation during sprint planning.
• Execution Monitoring & Defect Management Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and log defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Ensure stability and reliability of automation suites.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement Track KPIs such as test coverage, execution time, and flakiness rate.
• Continuously improve framework performance, stability, and scalability.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

The salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all U.S. locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
