Dietary Aide/Cook Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, following health and safety protocols.
- Engage with residents respectfully, addressing their dietary needs and preferences with a friendly attitude.
- Adhere to all dietary procedures, facility policies, and state/federal regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current Food Handler certification.
- Prior experience in a dietary, kitchen, or food service role is a plus, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
