Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in the implementation of individualized treatment plans to enhance the functional abilities and quality of life of our residents
- Evaluate and assess residents' physical and emotional needs, documenting findings and developing recommendations for therapy interventions
- Implement and modify occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities, under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our residents' treatment plans and progress, communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality, adherence to policies and procedures, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing situations
- Familiarity with assisted living and rehabilitation settings
