About the Role:
Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill is seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. Responsibilities:
Lead by Example: Oversee and direct the nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care, meeting the highest standards of quality and patient satisfaction.
Develop and Implement: Create and implement care plans, policies, and procedures that align with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with other departments, including admissions, marketing, and activities, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care and satisfaction.
Monitor and Improve: Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance resident care and experience.
Provide Education and Training: Offer ongoing education and training to staff members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional care.
Foster Open Communication: Encourage open communication and feedback from staff, residents, and families, actively addressing concerns and implementing solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field; graduate degree preferred.
Experienced Registered Nurse (RN), with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license; CPR certification and other certifications as required by company and regulatory agencies.
