About the Role:
As a Director of Nursing, you will oversee the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional care and support. This is a full-time Director of Nursing position that requires strong leadership and clinical skills, with a focus on promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Director of Nursing Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Provide direction and guidance to our nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and empathy in patient care.
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee the development and implementation of nursing care plans, ensuring that our residents receive comprehensive and individualized care.
- Staff Development: Mentor and train nursing staff, providing opportunities for growth and professional development.
- Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services we provide.
- Admissions and Dispositions: Coordinate admissions and dispositions, ensuring a seamless transition for our residents.
Director of Nursing Requirements:
Current and Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri
Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing
Nursing management experience as a clinical leadership or supervisory in healthcare
Required On-call expectations for staff backup and clinical problem-solving
