Laundry Aide
Location: Aspire Senior Living Carthage - Carthage, MO
Shift: Full-Time Day/Evenings ( Rotating Weekends)
Pay: $15/hr
Aspire Senior Living Carthage is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team at . This role is essential to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. The Laundry Aide will be responsible for the washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens, clothing, and other laundry items, ensuring quality standards are met.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items including linens, towels, and residents' personal clothing
Operate washing and drying machines according to manufacturer's instructions
Inspect laundry for stains, damage, and repairs, notifying management when needed
Ensure that all laundry items are properly stored and available as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room and equipment
Follow health and safety guidelines, including infection control policies
Work collaboratively with other staff to support residents' comfort and well-being
Requirements:
Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and quality standards
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull laundry loads
Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward residents
