Job Purpose: The Lead Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for the safety of the clients and maintaining a positive atmosphere in the milieu to ensure optimal conditions that lead to favorable outcomes for the clients. The Lead BHT provides direct and indirect care to clients under the supervision of a Program Director.

Job Functions

• Perform duties to monitor client's participation in activities
• Assist clients to proceed through the responsibilities and commitments of the assigned program and transport clients to offsite activities
• Providing services under parameters of designated program and within prescribed setting, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
• Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire Health Partners' insurance company
• Requires complete knowledge of the organizations related programs, practices and policies as well as rules of documentation and confidentiality.
• Requires the ability to read, analyze and interpret written information including regulations and effectively communicate verbally and in writing where information includes precise data and terminology, possibly of a confidential nature.
• Requires the equivalent of a complete high school education along with specialized training in counseling, intervention and behavior modification techniques.
