Job Summary:

The PAT Supervisors assists the Director in the oversight, implementation, quality improvement, and strategic growth of the Parents as Teachers program while ensuring compliance with Parents as Teachers, MIECHV, and Aspire requirements. The Supervisor ensures high-quality implementation of the Parents as Teachers model through in field support and supervision, reflective supervision, staff development, program monitoring, quality improvement, and community partnership activities. Maintains a small caseload for direct care hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain compliance with all Parents as Teachers model fidelity requirements, Massachusetts MIECHV expectations, and applicable federal and state regulations.

• Provide reflective supervision and coaching to Parent Educators and Family Support Specialists in accordance with PAT requirements.

• Support the Director with staff meetings, individual supervision, performance evaluations, and professional development activities.

• Monitor program implementation to ensure fidelity to the Parents as Teachers model, including personal visits, group connections, screenings, assessments, and family engagement activities.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Social Work, Child Development, Public Health, Education, or related field.

• Minimum of three years experience working with young children and families.

• Previous supervisory, leadership, coaching, or home visiting experience preferred.

• Experience implementing evidence-based home visiting, family support, or early childhood programs preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively with families, staff, management, community partners, and funding agencies.

• Valid driver's license and reliable/consistent transportation throughout the region.

• Ability to obtain and maintain all required Parents as Teachers certifications and supervisor credentialing requirements.

Other Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Ability to travel throughout the service area, conduct home visit observations, participate in community meetings, and carry materials required for program operations.

• Ability to work in homes with pets, allergens, and differing home conditions while maintaining a respectful family-centered approach.

• Must have a valid (within the past two years) physical or Doctor's letter verifying ability to satisfy the above requirements and maintain throughout employment.

• Emotional Demands: Mature and stable individual who is able to cope with the emotional demands of supporting staff, families, community partners, and management.

• Regulatory Demands: Must meet all requirements for certification, credentialing, grant compliance, and applicable state and federal regulations.
