Female In-Home Caregiver — Grants Pass, OR
We are urgently hiring compassionate, reliable female In-Home Caregivers to support a female client in Grants Pass, OR. Full-time and part-time shifts available.
Level 3/4 care experience strongly preferred, but no professional experience required — we will train the right individual who has a genuine heart for caregiving.
Position Overview
You will provide one-on-one care for an elderly female client with dementia who responds well to calm voices, structure, and gentle redirection. She may become jealous at times and needs caregivers who can provide steady companionship and emotional support.
Responsibilities include personal care, continence care, medication reminders, housekeeping, meal preparation, oxygen concentrator familiarity, and encouraging mobility throughout the day. Evening duties include assisting her into bed and monitoring for sundowning behaviors.
This is Level 3/4 care.
Daily Responsibilities
- Companionship and emotional support
- Cooking and meal preparation
- Basic housekeeping (tidy, clean, organize)
- Personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, hygiene)
- Toileting & continence care
- Medication administration reminders
- Encouraging mobility and safe ambulation
- Monitoring overnight behaviors/sundowning
- Running errands when needed
- Transportation to appointments (as required)
- Maintaining calm, patient communication

Requirements
- Female applicants only (client preference/privacy-based placement)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and active auto insurance
- Must be 18 years old
- Must speak English clearly and communicate effectively
- Strong reliability, dependability, and compassion
- Good personal hygiene
- Willingness to learn and follow training
- Ability to remain calm and patient with dementia care needs
- Preferred: Level 3/4 caregiving experience
- Availability for on-site training/assessment in Medford:
Thursday or Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Pay: Starting at $18 per hour, depending on experience.
