About The Role

We are seeking a Tech 3, Bakery Maintenance to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As a Tech 3, you will be accountable for maintaining and repairing bakery production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, sanitary, and fully operational conditions. This role is vital for supporting consistent production output, food safety compliance, and equipment reliability.

• Hours: 6AM - 2:30PM

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $33 – $37
  
  

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Maintain and repair bakery equipment to ensure uninterrupted production
• Conduct routine inspections and address equipment issues promptly
• Keep work areas and tools clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Complete maintenance logs and documentation accurately
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and allergen control procedures
• Support continuous improvement in equipment performance and food safety practices
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve equipment and safety concerns
  
  

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring To The Table)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4–7 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food or bakery manufacturing
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, noise, and food ingredients
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients For Success)

• Experience in bakery or food manufacturing environments
• Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of fermentation and bun production systems
• Familiarity with GMP and HACCP standards
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
