About The Role

We are seeking an Operator 2 – Bakery Sanitation to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As an Operator 2 in Sanitation, you will be accountable for ensuring the facility, equipment, and production areas are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to meet food‑safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Your work supports a safe environment for all employees and helps protect the integrity of every product we make.

• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6AM – 2:30PM

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $25–$26
  
  

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Perform sanitation procedures to ensure all equipment and production areas meet food‑safety and GMP standards
• Use chemicals, tools, and sanitation equipment safely and effectively
• Follow documented cleaning procedures (KLEANZ) and complete all required forms accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and handle tools, chemicals, and equipment responsibly
• Execute dry and wet cleaning tasks independently and as part of a team
• Support a safe workplace by identifying potential contamination risks and reporting issues promptly
• Complete assigned duties and collaborate with Sanitation leadership to meet daily sanitation goals
  
  

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring To The Table)

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–3 years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with cleaning tools and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions, complete documentation, and learn multiple sanitation tasks
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting as required
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients For Success)

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Experience with food‑manufacturing sanitation processes
• Familiarity with GMPs and safe chemical‑handling practices
