Job Description
Aspen Systems is currently looking for a Shipper/Receiver to join our production team. The right person for this role will be comfortable on their feet and eager to pitch in whenever/wherever extra help is needed. /
Objectives of this Role
- Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner
- Assist with the timely fulfillment and delivery of finished products
- Work with team members to meet set goals
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Pack finished product using custom packaging
- Load and unload pallets and boxes to and from trucks, as well as collecting empty pallets and carrying them to storage
- Pick appropriate ship kit material, according to order.
- Assist in weekly product inventory
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks
- Scanning/filing production paperwork
- Receive incoming material
- Ship outgoing finished product
Skills and Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift more than 30 pounds without assistance
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
- Willing and able to work at heights, using a mobile staircase
- Computer skills to be able to utilize an ERP system
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to communicate effectively with team members
- Highly motivated and willing to learn
