We are seeking a dynamic and creative Jewelry Salesperson and Designer to join our esteemed retail team. This role combines the art of selling exquisite jewelry pieces with the skill of designing custom jewelry to meet clients’ unique preferences. You will be responsible for engaging customers, showcasing products through demonstrations, and creating personalized jewelry pieces that delight and inspire. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on jewelry selections, emphasizing product features and benefits.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight craftsmanship, quality, and design elements.
- Assist clients in designing custom jewelry pieces by understanding their preferences and translating ideas into creative designs.
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash register operations and cash handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in-person interactions.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays that highlight jewelry collections attractively.
Experience
- Jewelry CAD experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the jewelry or fashion accessories industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail transactions, and cashiering procedures.
- Strong communication skills are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to perform retail math accurately, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising principles, and inventory management practices.
